Welcome to Poxel.io! This is a survival game combined with open-world building set in a blocky world similar to Minecraft. Your mission is to collect resources, craft weapons, build houses, fight, and survive against both the harsh environment and other players.

How to play Poxel.io

Poxel.io has no fixed rules; you will write your own survival story. You can build a solid base to take shelter or become a wandering warrior, hunting others to compete for resources.
Collect resources.

As soon as you enter the game, prioritise finding wood from trees and stones from the surrounding soil and rocks. Left-click to smash and collect as much as possible. Wood and stone are the basic materials for making tools, weapons, and houses.

Crafting weapons and equipment

Open the Craft menu, usually the square icon, or press E. Use the resources you have collected to craft axes, swords, pickaxes, and armour. Equip yourself with weapons to defend yourself against monsters or other players.

Build a base

Use construction tools to build walls, doors, barriers, and traps around the shelter. You should find a place with favourable terrain; being on high ground or near resources is an advantage. Place a forge, crafting table, and storage chests for long-term development.

Fight and survive

When it is dark, zombies and ferocious creatures appear more often. Always make sure the base has light (torches) and solid barriers. Do not risk hunting at night if you do not have strong weapons.

Other players can attack you at any time, so keep your distance and wait for the opportunity to attack or defend. Prioritise upgrading armour, healing quickly, eating meat and mushrooms, and knowing how to retreat at the right time. You can ally with other players, but you must always be vigilant.
