FragPunk is a completely free 5v5 FPS first-person shooter game released in March 2025! It is a perfect combination of hero shooter style and unique tactical elements, developed by Bad Guitar Studio and published by NetEase.
You will play as Lancers participating in 5v5 matches with the goal of placing or removing Converter devices in the main mode, Shard Clash.
Each Lancer in FragPunk possesses unique skills and fighting styles. Choosing the right Lancer to suit your personal playstyle or team tactics is an important factor to achieve high efficiency in the match.
Shard Clash: The main mode, where you and your teammates place or remove Converter devices.
Team Deathmatch: Two teams compete to achieve the highest kill score.
Capture the Core: Capture and hold points to accumulate points.
Outbreak: Survival mode against waves of zombies.
Each mode requires different tactics and team coordination, so understand the goals and how each mode works to have the right strategy.
Before each round, you and your teammates will choose Shard Cards. These cards can change the rules of the game or provide special advantages, such as increasing the rate of fire, creating temporary shields, or slowing down opponents. Choosing and coordinating Shard Cards wisely can make a big difference in the match.
Shard Points (SP) are the in-game currency, earned through actions such as killing opponents, assisting teammates, or completing objectives. SP is used to buy Shard Cards and upgrade equipment, so use it wisely to optimize your combat performance.
Relics are special items that provide additional benefits, such as reducing cooldowns or increasing damage. Choose Relics that suit your Lancer and your tactics to enhance your combat ability.
Flexible movement and smart positioning help you avoid enemy fire and create opportunities for surprise attacks. Practice skills like sliding, jumping, and using terrain to gain the upper hand in combat.
